Shellys Handmade Hobby Horses designs and make horses in her own home because of her daughter Arwen's interest in the sport. She now makes them on request and accepts custom orders.
Here is her extremely beautiful Chestnut with blaze. I love her 2 colured horses. My daughter Elowen has many as they are so stunning we can never resist them for birthday and Christmas and well Sunday's. :)

We use and see these horses at all our events. Shellys' are a firm favourite as they are exquisitly made and her attention to detail is second to none. She takes such pride and love with every one.
They are A4 sized so suitable for the middle aged child (9+) and are ideal for show jumping and also dressage.
High quality materials
Shelly sources the materials far and wide and spares no expense in making sure they are high quality, soft to the touch and look their best! She uses a paint spray gun to give extra effects and works hard on creating a seamless design when adding additional panels of colour.
Shelly is a kind and caring mother and crafter who takes care with everything she does. A bit of a hippy! She drives a hippy bus, takes her kids to folk festivals and brings her children up to know that experiences are worth more than the more traditional forms of education. She is a regular feature at our events and has become a good friend and a good hobby horse allay in this new and growing world of enthusiasts. She understands neurodiversity and knows how important it is to have the right horse that is aesthetically beautiful, and tactile and demands love and a relatiosnhip and a bond that our hobby horse enthusiasts all understand.
