Hobby Horse Adventures have put a lot of research into their Hobby Horse Jumps, ready for our first ever UK Hobby Horse Competition on 3rd February 2024 and subsequently for a plethora of new hobby horse events lined up across the UK. We have really stress tested, tried, adapted, hand made and sampled all different types of jumps available on the market today.
What we were looking for in hobby horse jumps was exceptionally hard to find. Some are too hard, some are too flimsy, some are too heavy, some are too light and can even blow over in the wind. Some are too wide so the poles bend and some are too narrow as the kids jumping are older than the kids the jumps were designed for!
New people to the market are trialling all different hobby horse jumps too and we watch with keen interest to see what works the best. For us travelling our jumps has become a priority as we take our shows all over, towing 2 trailers behind us! For others having hobby horse jumps that are durable and sturdy is a primary concern. Suitability can be down to so many factors dependent on their venue and even if their arena is where they live or work. Some people will even have horses and want to use our jumps for both real and hobby horses and ponies!
There is something for everyone and we are slowly adding many more (after vetting has been completed).
For the time being we have 3 hobby horse jump companies we are preferred stockists for:
Making sure we only supply top quality hobby horse jumps and sides is of paramount importance to Hobby Horse Adventure because it gives you our customer complete peace of mind that any hobby horse jump or side you purchase from us will stand the test of time.
We will also be selling these jumps at our events where you can see them in action and feel the quality for yourself. They can be pre-booked to ensure availability or bought on the day.
