When starting this journey I suppose we expected a monthly show in our local pony show venue.  What we discovered is that people are contacting us from all over the UK about whether or not we will run events in their area as the kids are there.

If we could we would run all over the country.  We have opened up as many venues as we can, as quickly as we can to try and be everywhere at once so no kid is more than an hour or two away! In reality, we have kids and horses and we are only 3 months in. The next step may be franchising or supplying different areas with stock and staff. Watch this space or contact us if you could be one of our venues/staff / stockists / suppliers.

Riding high on the popularity of our first events and company we started contacting agricultural shows and country fairs and horse and pony shows. We went big and spoke to the Great Yorkshire Show, Bramham Horse Trials and HOYS.  

Amazingly we were not laughed out the door and we are now honoured to announce that we will be ON THE MAP as a children’s activity at DEFENDER BRAMHAM INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS!

We attend Bramham every summer as spectators.  It’s only 20 minutes from home for us but we have always taken the caravan and camped as we love it so much and its such a good weekend away for me and the kids as we love the shows (Pony Club games the most!) and the trader stands.

Whilst the show is a great day out there are no specific activities that are just for children, outside of the pony club games which my kids always wished they could be a part of, but we are just not quite horsey enough with our old family pony.

We never thought in a million years they would consider little old us, BUT they are on board and have discussed with directors and whilst the arenas are fully booked they have dedicated an area for us, at the bottom catering stands on the way to the campsites and cross country course for us to run Hobby Horsing classes and warm up!

We will be there Saturday and Sunday running ‘pay as you go’ sessions for the children at the show to come visit us (parental supervision required) to practise and take part in clear rounds and classes and everyone wins a rosette!

I have a feeling we will be a hot spot for the kids so come see us, we will be seeing Hobby Horses, Hobby Horse Jumps and other hobby horse accessories.  There will be child ‘buddies’ to make new children feel more comfortable and we will be a welcoming happy hot spot for children to either bring their hobby horses or loan ours to take part in this ever-increasing athletic activity going over show jumps just for hobby horses.

Many of our regulars in our little community will be visiting us and will make your children feel welcome!  We literally cannot wait and could not be more excited to be a part of this incredible prestigious event!
