Here are the sweetest hand-made medium-weight hobby horses. They are suitable for older children as a full size hobby horse. These are our most popular horses at shows as they are such good value for money because they are handmade and yet priced as if from a factory!!
Buckberry Hobby Horses is a family business that tirelessly produces a huge assortment of these well-loved beauties and sells them at a price they hope most families can afford. They are a very ethical company/family and we have a lot of respect for their policy on hobby horsing for everyone.
Buckberry Hobby Horses come in a variety of colours including black, white, black and white, piebald, skewbald, spotty, chestnut, cream, and grey. The list goes on! They are all unique and custom made so no 2 hobby horses are the same!
These horses are very popular at our show's where children can test the weight and see that they are handmade and individual, each with their own character.
I also use these hobby horses in our after-school clubs as they are perfect for all ages KS1 and nervous and novices. I use the small, medium and large Buckberry Hobby Horses for KY2 which can manage a little more weight. We stock all sizes and colours subject to availability.
We receive a shipment each week from the faraway Scottish Isle where I picture Amy (Buckberry) and her daughter bent over a sewing machine late into the night to keep up with the demand for these ever-popular and increasingly well-known hobby horses.
