Shelly's Handmade Hobby Horses design and crafts horses in her home because of her daughter Arwen's interest in the sport. Shelly also makes them on request and accepts custom orders - ask for a quote (usually £40 more for a custom compared with pre-made depending on the complexity.

Here is her extremely beautiful mini. He is one of my favourites so far and my daughter Elowen has many as they are so stunning we can never resist them for Birthday, Christmas, and Sunday's. :)

All of Shelly's horses are unique, but we will soon be stocking a few regular favourites so there aren't just a few who get to enjoy the best ones. So watch this space if one you like goes out of stock! Contact us to be put on the waiting list for another!
Materials
High-quality materials are sourced from around the world from the dwindling supplies of luxurious hobby horse materials and fabrics. Everyone is after them at the moment as Hobby Horsing gains momentum!
One day these horses will be collectables and treasured antiques as they are so beautifully crafted and such care and perfectionism is taken with every detail. I fall in love with at least one of them every time I see the new batch and this is one of my current favourites.
In Action
Shellys horses are a regular feature at Hobby Horse Adventures hobby horse competitions. Many competitors ride them. They appear in our promotional materials and the professional photography on our media.
